LUOS in Park Lane N17 has a bottomless need for laptops, tablets and smartphones for people in Haringey as part of their ‘Digital Buddy and Soul project.
The project was started 6 months ago to help residents with the problems of WIFI and digital inequality and poverty and is now contending with the closure of schools too.
If you have a laptop, tablet or smartphone you no longer need please contact email@example.com or ring 07435 969312 to arrange collection/delivery.
Laptops need to be minimum:
•RAM: 8 GB
•Hard disk: 250 GB
•Operating System: Windows 10
•Screen: 14″ or bigger
•Processor: Minimum I3
Tablets and (larger screen) smartphones need to be capable of access internet and video calls. Please enquire at the contact points if in doubt.
LUOS can collect, wipe clean, do mini repairs and build with programs and applications, but it is recommended to delete data and applications before handover.
