Buildings

Many homes use too much electricity and heat to stay warm and comfortable and we need to clamp down on greenhouse gases emitted by homes if we are to tackle the climate emergency.  It is generally agreed that it is more cost and energy-effective to try and energy efficiently retrofit our homes – even the oldest, leakiest ones – than it is to knock them down and build new ones.  And it also makes no sense for new homes and major works to ‘build in’ energy waste until they get expensively retrofitted. Here are examples of businesses that are looking to do just that.

Note that these businesses are all self nominating, so Haringey Climate Forum takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information or the quality of the products and services.
